The Silent AutoRun Wizard takes you step-by-step through the task of creating an AutoRun that will display
a splash
screen, install software and launch your file or program when the CD is inserted in the drive.
To open the Wizard:
1. Go to the Wizards menu.
2. Select Silent AutoRun Wizard. The Welcome screen appears.
3. Click Next.
Step 1
1. Enter a name for the project in the Project Name box.
2. Browse to select a location for the Project directory.
3. Click Next.
Step 2
Copy all the files that you want to be included on the CD to the CD Image directory (files to launch, software
to install,
splash screens, icons, etc.)
1. Click Open Project Directory.
2. Copy all the files that you want to be included on the CD to the project directory
(files to launch, software to
install, splash screens, icons, etc.)
3. Click Next.
Step 3
You can choose an icon for your CD. This is the icon that will be displayed for your CD in Windows Explorer.
The icon
can be the product or company logo or any other icon that is fitting for your product. If you do not have an icon, the
AutoRun icon will be used as the default icon.
1. Click Browse to select an icon file.
2. Click Next.
Step 4
You can choose an image to display before the product starts. The display of the image can be accompanied by
sound if you wish.
1. Browse to select the image name.
2. If you want a sound played when the splash screen is displayed, browse to select
an audio file.
3. Enter the number of seconds you want to display the image.
4. Click Next.
Step 5
1. Click Browse and select the file you want the AutoRun to run. The file can be a document
or an executable file.

3. Click Next.
Step 6
You can install software. This will often be a viewer for the file you are launching which will be installed
if the user does
not have an appropriate viewer.
1. Click Browse and select the file to be installed.
2. Make the appropriate choices and click Next.
AutoRun Wizard Complete
You have created a basic AutoRun project.
·Click Test to test your new AutoRun project.
·Click Finish to exit the Wizard and go to the main AutoRun Architect window where you can set additional
options.
·Click Previous return to a previous step in the Wizard to modify the settings.
